FairPlay project finalized

The FairPlay project (Fair open realtime distributed Power quality control for low voltage grids) was successfully finalized, the final meeting was held end of May in Herberg de Kemper, close to the test location in Markelo. The final report (in Dutch with English abstract) is available in Eindrapport_UrbanEnergy_FairPlay_openbaar-2024-08-21.

Key results are the analysis of fair voltage&power control at different grid locations and usage of synchronized measurements to analyse the complex interplay between solar production (at farms, houses, and solar fields), inverter shutdowns due to over-voltage, low impedance cable segments, inverter-control, and transformers with automated tap-changer.

We are interested in follow-up projects that build further on the results and synchronized measurements.
