OUR STORY

Smart State Technology (SST) was founded in 2016 by Omar Mansour and Dennis Bijwaard. The founders have a wide range of experience in the areas of embedded systems, signal processing, Internet of Things (IoT), communication, security, software and hardware development. The aim of Smart State Technology is to develop advanced technological and future proof solutions for the energy transition.

The founders have a wide range of experience in the areas of embedded systems, signal processing, Internet of Things (IoT), communication, security, software and hardware development. The aim of Smart State Technology is to develop advanced technological and future proof solutions for the upcoming smart grids. Smart State Technology is involved in the research program IDEEGO/ORTEP where advanced solutions for congestion management for the rapidly changing low-voltage grid, are being developed. The project is a collaboration with the University of Twente and the dutch grid operator Stedin.
